- There is currently a broadband issue in the North Finchley area which is affecting North Finchley library. No internet or wifi is available. The library will be open from Wednesday 1 May to Friday 3 May form 9am.You can borrow and return items. Please check back here for updates before travelling to the Library.
- Barnet Libraries annual Literary Festival returns to Finchley Church End Library on the weekend of Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 May.
- Childs Hill, Hendon and New Barnet libraries will be closed on Thursday 2 May while they operate as Polling stations. The nearest alternative libraries are Golders Green and Osidge Libraries.
- Finchley Church End library will be closed for planned electrical works on Wednesday 8 May from 7am – 5pm
